OBDI RT Tuner Updates

Download Version 1.47 Update

To install the update, double click on the downloaded file and follow the on screen instructions.

The default install folder for the update is 'c:\program files\cats\tuner' (or 'c:\program files (x86)\cats\tuner') which is the default installation folder for the OBDI RT Tuner program. If you installed the OBDI RT Tuner program into another folder make sure you change the update installation folder accordingly.

RT Tuner Program Version 1.34 Updates

• Added support for the Moates.Net Burn1, Burn2 and AutoProm programmers to allow reading EPROMs and programming the SST27SF512 Flash chips directly from the RT Tuner program.

• The RT Tuner program now recognizes com port numbers up to 255.

• When working on '94/95 LT1 cars PCM reading and programming can be accessed directly via buttons on the program toolbar.

RT Tuner Program Version 1.33 Updates

• Corrected a bug that could cause the checksums to be calculated incorrectly when using the $EE and $EEB ECM Definition Files. (Note: this bug was only found in the latest builds of Version 1.32 of the RT Tuner program (builds after 11/10/09 that is if the RT_Tuner.exe application file in your Tuner folder has a date stamp later than 11/10/09.)

• The speed calibration function for the LT1 cars has been completely revised and now includes the speed error correction method and the automatic updating of the transmission tables.

• Corrected a bug that would sometimes incorrectly identify the emulator type.

• Update to make the program compatible with the latest version of firmware for the Moates Ostrich 2.0 emulator.

• Fixed a bug that would sometimes display an erroneous message that some ECM Definition Files are not supported by the Ostrich emulator.

• Fixed a bug introduced in version 1.17 that would cause a 'file corrupt' message when reading the emulator if the emulator were programmed and read with different types of calibrations in a certain order.

• Corrected a bug that would cause a runtime error if a point on a 3D graph were dragged when in the mixed graph/table view.

• Corrected a bug that  could cause a selected point on a graph to be misidentified in the corresponding table.

New Features:

• Added Import Cal Function to Files menu. This function will import all the cal values defined in the ECM Definition File from a selected calibration file into the currently open calibration file.

• Added support for larger tables.

• Increased size of the notes field for type $EE calibration files to 1024 bytes.

• Double clicking on a graph will reset the graph to its original size after using the zoom functions.
  

Bug Fixes:

• Corrected a bug that would not enable the Edit menu is when the Constants table is opened.

• Corrected a bug that  would cause a runtime error 9 (subscript out of range) if more than
  10 changes were made to the switch or constants tables.

• Corrected the routine to read 16 bit MSB/LSB 2's complement values. Previously read values as LSB/MSB.

• Corrected a bug  to allow the edit step to be less than 0.01. Previously, this was set as the minimum and correspondingly no tables were displayed with more than 2 decimal places of accuracy.

• Corrected an error in the print graph function of that would cause a runtime error 10007 after printing a graph.

• Corrected a bug that would cause the program to lockup when zooming or rotating the graph and the key is released (Shift or Alt) before mouse button.

• Corrected a bug that could incorrectly report a checksum error when programming the Romulator.

• Added code to improve the handling of communications errors with the Romulator. 

• Corrected open file routine so that the Tools menu items are enabled when a $EE calibration file is opened. 

• Program now deletes the temporary bin file created when Romulator is read. Otherwise if the previous
  temporary file was larger than the current, the program would think that the file stored in the Romulator had the incorrect program ID.
  

Features:

• Added support for the Romulator 2 and 64KB calibration files in real-time mode.

Bug Fixes:

• Previously if you started the program with an ECM Definition File selected that does not support the Romulator and then tried to switch to a Definition File File that does support it, you would receive a run-time error 75.

• Corrected a bug that would cause the program would try to send any changes to the Romulator even if not connected.

• Corrected a bug that would cause a runtime error 9 if more than 10 changes were made to the switch or constants tables.
